Seven Habits to Avoid Fat Tummy

Getting a slim waist and flat stomach is not just a dream. Anyone can grab it with a strong will and discipline. Of course, by applying good practice in carrying out daily routines.



1. Calm

"Too much stress can cause belly fat. Stress increases levels of cortisol, a hormone that leads directly into the stomach fat," says Jacob Seidell, PhD, from the National Institute of Public Health in Bilthoven, the Netherlands.

To keep cortisol levels remain low, try this stress reducer for five to ten minutes: Find a quiet and comfortable place to sit. Next, inhale deeply and exhale slowly to clear your mind. Repeat several times. Continue to breathe deeply and dengungkan word 'um' while exhaling. (If your attention distracted, return your attention to the word 'um'). Perform five minutes once or twice a day.



2. No Consumption Alcohol

Do not believe rumors that cigarettes can make a skinny body! In fact, smokers tend to have more fat in the abdominal than those who do not smoke. "When someone stops smoking, the number of their abdominal fat actually decreases," Seidell said.



4. Eat More Fiber

Fiber is not only good for overall weight loss program, but also can prevent constipation which can cause fat in your tummy. Consumption at least 22 to 25 grams of fiber a day come from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.



5. Drink Lots

For those of you who entered a period before menstruation (premenstrual), the stomach will feel bloated. Drink as much water as to reduce the stomach expands when near or into the time of menstruation.



6. Strengthen Bones

Osteoporosis can cause the spine to bend and position the body to be bent. This in turn shortens the abdominal cavity and could not help the position of belly bulge.



If you are aged 50 years or more, make sure you get 1200 mg of calcium every day from the food you eat or from supplements.



7. Increase Heartbeats

All the abdominal exercises that are aimed to eliminate the fat that hide behind your stomach. The best way to eliminate it is with aerobic exercise for 45-60 minutes, five times a week
